Hi everyone, can i get peoples opinion who are on risperidone and abilify.
Im currently on both, but not sure if its too much? I feel really seadated
Symptoms are controlled though

Im not sure if i need 15mg i was thinking lowering it to 10mg
Thats a high dose of risperdone. Generally 8mg is the max. Have you had your prolactin levels checked? It raised mine super high and i had to switch meds.

Yeah i just got bloods done yesterday so il find out, previously the abilify helped

I was on 15mg risperidone
amd 90mg abilify

Do you mean 60mg abikify? Or ninety?

I’m on 2 MGs Risperidone. Even that seems somewhat sedating.
To say it quite honestly 11 mg Risperdone is a quite large dose and 15 mgs of abilify is a quite low dose. But you seems to be on a large dose just like me so my treatment team has ordered
me down to 750 mgs of Seroquel with my depot of 500 mgs of Clopixol.
Ignore people whom advices are to go down as this is a matter between you and your doc.
I don’t advice you in anyway but can tell that I just like.you have used.antipsychotics in large amounts and thats why I’m alive today.
But avoid street.drugs and alcohol cause they cooperate with.your antipsychotics very badly.

Agree with columbus but still think it is a large dose. A genetic test for liver enzymes could be a good data point if you can afford it.
