Hi. I gained 100 pounds from risperdal injections. I went from 165 to 265. I have been off of it for over a year now as I switched to haldol and have lost only 15 of the 100 pounds.
I have met people and read about people who have lost all of it after getting off it. Do you know why that hasn’t happened in my case? Perhaps the haldol keeps it on?

The Haldol might be making you keep the weight I’m not sure.
All Antipsychotics have the potential for increasing weight.
The only way to lose the weight is through diet and exercise
yes i’m on it. it saved my sanity but damn i’ve gained weight. i was thin back then.

Well some people say geodon is good for weight, but I don’t know, I didn’t try it.
