Yeah i used to smoke a fair bit. These days when i smoke it i get instant paranoia.

in other news, water is wet. thc has brought me nothing but trouble. I was on so many drugs that it is hard to pin down which one did it, but I was literally high 24/7 when I first started going into psychosis. this news story doesn’t surprise me at all. when i smoke it now i immediately become more psychotic. it’s not good and I’m sure that with the 30% thc weed strains out now this will become more and more of a problem as time goes on.

I find it difficult to read that, But I am glad you wrote it. It made me think

“Cannabis addicts”

just because you cant become physically dependent on canbabis doesnt mean there arent people addicted to it. addiction is psychological. saying that there are cannabis addicts doesnt mean cannabis in itself is addictive but anything that can make someone feel different can be a tool in the addicts inventory to fulfill their needs

Weed makes me psychotic. I am sure it triggered my first psychotic episode and my sz.

It’s fine if you don’t make it your life. Some people just make it their life and that’s the problem

I think you have to have the genetic disposition in order to develop sz. Weed just triggers it.

I read that article carefully and it says the risk is of schizophrenia and related disorders, which apparently includes cannabis addiction. It also said the risk is only at high concentrations.
There are many people who use cannabis and do not develop schizophrenia. There is the possibility that some people think the disease actually came from pot.
There is another factor. Some people are using studies like this to try to show that pot is dangerous.
