I liked him he was a good actor. Should have been offered more big roles in my opinion.
He was epic in Rocky.
To me the Rocky movies are more about resilience in the face of hardships in life, I find the boxing symbolic, kind of like Bloodsport with VanDamme if you ever saw that.
I don’t really like boxing or martial arts movies unless there is a solid plot.
I can actually watch his generation of movies, lots of action little dialogue. Two more current movies I found likebthe ones in 80s aee Dredd and Payback with mel gibson. No chitchat and lots of action.
I dont mind chitchat if its comedy so happy gilmore was good but drama like in rocky 1 i cant stand.
