Apparently I need a blood test weekly for 6 weeks after quitting Clozapine
To me dying from it would just be a bonus, so I said no
Weekly? Why? Not monthly?
I wonder if your inate aggressiveness holds you back?
It’s just bloodwork and self preservation isn’t a bad thing. Life gets pretty good if your not trying to fight it all the time…

My meds tricked me. I thought I was better these last few days, but things have taken a slide again this morning
I am tired of the day already, and it’s not even 7am here
They take it very seriously in the UK. I once quit clozapine and didn’t have to do bloodwork afterwards.

I’ve done blood tests a few years ago cuz I take clozapine. Not much of a big deal to me.
But I have a “fun” story regarding the lab, once my results were bad and my doc got so worried, the numbers of leukocytes were low. Fortunately I had another test prescription to do blood work and on that time the numbers were right. Sometimes the lab robots do mistakes too, it’s not only us.
So my advice regarding lab tests is ask the doc to do another blood test just to make sure the numbers are right. I’ve done a ton of lab experiences as a biochemist and we had to repeat it at least 3 times to make sure we didn’t had any mistakes on measuring stuff.
