This is something your doctor should be scheduling, I would imagine. I don’t remember the exact times but its frequently at first and less frequently the longer you are on it, I believe.

Definitely a doc question.

For me it is once per month.

I don’t know about anyone else, but for me it goes on this schedule: First 6 months, blood test every week. Second 6 months, every 2 weeks. After 1 year of good tests, every month. Then monthly for however long you’re on it.

I’m on one month
Been on clozapine fithteen years
Once you are on monthly it’s very unlikely you will have any problems

I do blood tests once a month and take a 450mg a day dose. :sauropod::sauropod::sauropod:

I’m on once a week, as I’m in the first few months of taking Clozapine.

It’s a HUGE pain in the butt. It’s like pulling teeth to get the lab to send the results to my shrink, then for the shrink to get it to the pharmacy, and then I have to call several times to get them to fill the damn prescription. You’d think they know by now, since we do this every week…

Can’t wait until we drop down to every other week.

Jesus. Clozapine knocked me out at exactly week one. I’m glad it’s working for y’all. I’m just sensitive to certain meds.
