So this morning I went out to breakfast with my mom. We were in a secluded booth. I kept getting paranoid that we were going to be attacked. At one point a couple walked in holding hands and I took that to be a sign that they were the ones who were going to kill everyone.
All that was going through my head but it was totally normal thought at the time. I didn’t really recognize it as being abnormal until this evening. Does that happen with anyone else? Like you don’t see it at the time?
Not exactly with this sort of thing, but woof, do I realize I’m paranoid after the fact. I remember one time I was trying to make lamb steak seared in a pan. Knew what I was doing, knew what internal temperature to get it to to kill off the bacteria, had a digital meat thermometer, the works. Took it off the heat once it had reached the right temperature, took a bite, only to have my brain be like “IT’S GONNA KILL YOU”. I then proceeded to panic, recook it four times, and totally kill the lamb a second time. Ended with me being in tears, eating tough meat.
@R00nT00n …check out the date on posts. It’s in the top right corner of the thread. Usually we leave older threads alone for the reasons as follows. This thread for example is from feb this year and two months is pretty long in these worlds as things move fast. Please keep this in consideration when moving forward when you post.
Typically, we like to leave inactive threads alone and just start a new thread instead. This is different than how some forums are run, but we do it this way because it frequently upsets users to have old topics revived when they are no longer relevant. It can also be frustrating to the person who revived the thread when they don’t get a reply, because the original poster is no longer active or no longer finds the topic relevant. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic.
