There are many reasons why telepathy can not be true. I shall begin a list of possible reasons below. Please feel free to add to the list…
Family and friends who you trust would tell you the truth.
It is unlikely to be an international secret.
People would know your secrets… e.g. when you are pregnant yet you keep it a secret until month three. However, nobody really knows.
Secrets would be transparent like knowing what you will receive as a gift or knowing whether someone was lying to you.
Police would psychicly come to know who the criminal was because they could use telepathy but in reality most police follow strict investigations based on evidence.
The entire psychiatric profession would have to be a lie and such a large scale deception against good patients using trustworthy and kind professionals would not add up.
Spies would be unable to go undercover.
Telepathy, if true, would be widespread but it isn’t.
Telepathy is not practical. Voices would come from every member of society creating a noisy mess.
The educational examinations process would be null and void because you could read knowledge from someone else’s mind and pass it off as your own.
Hallucinations would always be true but often I hear things which are false.
We could telepathically communicate full time instead of talking but we don’t because it isn’t viable.
As children we couldn’t play hide and seek because with telepathy it isn’t possible to hide anything.
The world of surprises couldn’t exist but they do… e.g… a surprise party.
If we trust that others are honest enough to tell us telepathy is made up then it cannot be true.

If telepathy was real I would probably be in jail right now, or have had the crap beaten out of me, or at least have a long list of enemies. I have thoughts many would consider very bad
I agree with your list 100% logically however, I am delusional and believe that I am telepathic. I don’t think everyone is doing it because I think telepathy is extremely rare. I can’t access that gift because the brain scientists controlling my brain won’t let me. Otherwise I would tell you what your thinking! HahHa
well, according to my delusion @Daze, they are bonafied, human being MD’s and PhD’s who work out of a University of Washington Medical Center research facility. It is my belief that I have equipment in my brain and body and they monitor and control me all the time, 24/7 via satellite. I am surrounded by cameras and I have a camera in my eye. Yes, they are real human being people like you and me. Scientists.
You know no one wants you to leave…if they really wanted you gone any members account can be terminated for any or no purpose… But they want you to take a breather…and return when your bloods not boiling…over and over and over…
