Reading a book about diabetes

It recommends intermittent fasting to improve/reverse diabetes. What complicates the whole issue is that I am on diabetes drugs which may drop blood sugar too low. I need to talk to doc.

The book basically says, the more insulin you have constantly in your body, the more it increases insulin resistance. Everytime you eat, insulin is produced, so thereby fasting will not only drop weight but will also reduce insulin resistance…at least if I’m understanding it right.

Anywho, once I have talked to doc, I think I’m going to try it along with more changes in diet on the days that I do eat.

Btw, I reversed diabetes once before through heavy fasting when I was in psychosis. I did it for the wrong reasons, but it nonetheless worked as an unintended benefit.
