Racing thought when trying to get to sleep?

learn how to meditate so you can let go of such thoughts. A daily practice of 20 minutes should be enough.

Can you sleep? If not, I have found that when I take psyllium husk it makes me sleepy and I can get a deeper sleep throughout the night.

Maybe some belly breathing?

If it were me I would put some calm music on quietly and try and focus on it. And yeah focusing on slow breathing is also helpful.
