Quitting Cigs

I want to quit so bad. It just seems impossible. I’ve tried so many times. Cigs are the most addictive thing I have ever dealt with.

I used to smoke cigarettes then I went to vaping. I had to quit all of it because a physician said I had pleural nodules on both my lungs. I couldn’t breathe well when I started abilify. It’s been hard but I managed to be over a month now. It’s worth it in quitting.

I quit cold turkey for a year but ended up smoking again. I roll my own now. It’s very hard to quit. Maybe try replacing it with exercise? Like light walking.

I told the pdoc I maybe should try to quit while I’m in the hospital. He raised both eyebrows and smiled and quietly said “Do you really think now is the time? Let’s get those meds working first. Then I’ll bug you to quit.”

Most of the hospitals I’ve been in don’t let you smoke.

I’ve been to one that let you smoke,on their balcony, was a really nice hospital super expensive too. I learned that there’s only one public hospital in my state and I’ve never been there. I learned that the hospitals that I thought were public were actually private

We get to go outside and smoke if the pdoc gives a pass to be able to go on the grounds. Usually you don’t get one the first 48 hrs but he says when I’m admitted he will give me a pass immediately

I switched to vaping 3 month ago. At first I felt a bit anxious but now Im ok. Maybe you should try it if you really want to give up smoking.

I went cold turkey a few times but always picked it back up after a while. I tried vaping last year and it worked (No major health risks associated with it either), only issue with that was I didn’t see a need to quit since it’s not going to give you cancer, until my vape broke.
