Most of us smokers who would like to quit haven’t done so yet because we don’t want more stress on top of the stress we’re already suffering.
Are there any experimental meds currently available by prescrip which can quickly ‘snip’ the neural pathway that is maintaining the addiction?
I’ve heard some people have snapped the path on will (usually during a revelation) but I don’t have that capability…
Wellbutrin, aka Zyban, blocks the effects of nicotine in the brain.
I couldn’t feel high from nicotine while on Wellbutrin, I vaped less. Stopped Wellbutrin bcz it didn’t help my negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Went back to vaping nicotine afterward.
I tried this before I was diagnosed. It didn’t help and gave me suicidal ideation. 
The only thing that it helped for me is quitting nicotine. I felt nothing when vaping nicotine while on it, it just felt I was breathing air lol It blocks the effects of nicotine in the brain.
No that’s what I mean. I tried it for smoking cessation and it didn’t help with that.
Oh, thought for negative symptoms. Honestly I was never a heavy smoker, I just vape.

Yeah, Wellbutin along with Risperdol made my anxiety worse
They’ve placed me on another ‘happy’ pill called Citrolopram
but Citro doesn’t provide enough sense of contentment to override the cig
cravings.
I’m frustrated to the point where I would like to just ram a cake knife through the back of my skull and see if that cuts the wire.
Try vaping nicotine? That’s how I quit smoking including marijuana.
Many ppl here quit smoking by themeselves without any help.
Probably the only assisted salvation other than cold turkey
Problem is the vapes cost cash as well
But they cost much less than cigarettes here.
Cheapest is on AliExpress, I paid 28$ canadian for my vape with 2 pods, cartridges.
This is one of the best small vapes, I use Uwell Caliburn. There are cheaper under 10$ but less quality.
