Questioning if it´s real or not

Sometimes i question if the things i hear or see are real. I dont see things. I also dont hear things so i quess it is just paranoia. But i did hear things while psychotic before i was hospitalized. Guess those are just bad memories and maybe a bit of paranoia. I dont know.

For an example from work today (night shift) i heard a coworker yelled “HEEY” to get attention from a coworker from across the hall. I looked around me and i saw one coworker minding his own business. So i was like did he yell? Did they found out i was in a mental hospital or that i have sz and are now teasing me, or did someone actually yelled hey? My sense told me it was coworker yelling to get attention from a coworker across the hall, but this question if its real or not kept appearing.

Also when i drive to work (usually when i go to night shift)i sometimes see a person standing beside a road and a question appears if it was a real person or did i just saw a person. I know i didnt “saw” a person, but those questions… so annoying. I dont see things. But i did saw a person staring at me for a moment while i was full blown psychotic before being hospitalized. I know these are just bad memories and maybe a bit of paranoia. As i said, i dont hear or see things so these thoughts are bothering. And silly because i know they are not real, but still annoying…

Sounds like you haven’t fully recovered yet sometimes meds take awhile

I’ve heard things that can’t be real. I don’t think about it too much. It wouldn’t be of any consequence if they were real. It does make me feel like I can’t trust my AP’s though.

I question if things are real all the time.

It’s just rolling with the punches. You know, turning your head as you get punched the lessen the impact.
