Because in the walking dead they are quintessential slow zombies. This is also true in dawn of the dead.
But in world war z and 28 days later they are totally fast zombies.
Actually come to think of it are they actually zombies in 28 days later? I mean my kinda definition of a zombie features the individuals dead corpse coming back to life. In 28 days later they don’t actually die just become infected with rage

fast zombies are fkn horrible, slow zombies are bad if there are loads of them lol
Yeah I think slow zombies would be easier to outrun. But slow zombies tend to walk in herds and like you say a lot of them at one time would be bad

I reckon though I would rather face zombies than vampires. True yeah u are safe from vampires in daylight but at night they have enhanced power and strength.
Plus vampires are smart. Zombies are pretty much brain dead

In world war z they would jump on top of each other to climb over walls. I thought that was lame. It was cool the safest place was a Navy ship.
In the resident evil franchise the zombies started off slow but as the movies went on there were some fast zombies.
In fact resident evil had zombie dogs too

I got bored of the walking dead after a few seasons. It is all very samey. I did, however , like the prequel series 1 and 2 Fear: the walking dead.
Gonna catch the other seasons on amazon prime soon.
Yeah I stopped watching the walking dead too. Kinda became a teen drama and not a horror fest
Yeah, definitely try the prequel. It is better. 
I think the two series have some cross over episodes but not 100% sure on that
