Question about voices/instrusive thoughts (overall handling)

I want to get kind of a consensus of what you do to cope/combat/help with voices/instrusive thoughts,

So basically to get a overall idea of all our typical go to’s when dealing with this,
Just to see a picture bigger of all the ways we use to handle these things.

So, for me I typical just ignore them,
Along with not investing to much thought into it, knowing the reality of the situation and being aware not to get sucked into it.
Also trying to better handle panic.

So what is it you do to deal/cope with these things, feel free to share what you do, no wrong answer.
Whether it’s a imaginary friend, ignoring/distracting, trying to re-focus attention, re-reasoning or whatever etc etc
