question about possible psychosis effects

hi, officially my diagnosis is schizoid and schizotypal personality disorder with psychosis core. I omitted to say some things to psychiatry but I wrote them down on paper and next time I’ll let them read them. I don’t know if psychoses are the same for all illnesses and I’m not sure if the cause is psychosis but I would like to know if the confusion I make between imagination and memories can be healed, I’ve only met one other psychotic in another forum but it seems he doesn’t want to talk about it, thanks for any replies. I apologize if my case is not relevant to this site in that case please let me know.

That depends on what you mean by healed, and on what the confusion you’re experiencing is based on. Not all psychoses are the same, but you could read about ‘loose association’, and ‘ideas of reference’, which I think are symptoms of those disorders. I find that I can cope ok with confusion because i have pronoia.

Are you saying you don’t trust your memories? I’m not 100% sure what you mean.

thanks I’m going to look for these two things, do you happen to have the links?

in practice yes, but it’s not about memories, in my opinion I’m sure, first they seem like memories then I seem to glimpse what really happened, and in the end I’m confused and I don’t understand what really happened

everhopeful do you know anything about it? do you know what it is?

I’m sorry I was too insistent, the reason is that I have too much desire to understand

Welcome to the forum! Glad you found us!

I don’t know anything about your particular diagnosis, but this site is for anyone who experiences psychosis, regardless of their diagnosis. I hope someone can answer your questions.

A few tips on things that confuse newbies:

Cake day is the anniversary date of when you joined.

The 1515 or other numbers at the end of peoples posts are because there’s a 15 character minimum to post. So people put 15s after until they get to the minimum characters to post.
