I said maybe, because it doesn’t seem to have any side effects, but it also doesn’t get rid of the voices. I’m hoping it does something else, as a mood stabilizer or something.

I was also irritable on Abiliify but I think smoking weed worsened the irritability.

Enhanced Sexual Desire is what’s bothering me, and also confusion. Hard to explain the confusion though. I was told Abilify is more “weight neutral”, but I also heard it causes weight gain. I don’t think there is an AP that doesn’t cause weight gain. Probably different for everyone.

For me it was a lot better as a teenager it helped eliminate all my psychotic and mood symptoms now I have to take lots more meds for the same results

Abilify is very activating. So if you’ve mainly got negative symptoms then it’s good. Ability 10 mg. Made me psychotic so I had to stop using it.i got a depot at the same time.

Abilify gave me tons of akathisia, hypersexuality and compulsive shopping. Sorta what I would expect vigra would be like like what my dad said.

However, it was used in combination with olanzapine which I had previously used maxed out.

Worst medication I’ve ever been on. Yes, hypersexuality, akathisia, and a slightly higher level of anxiety. I hate it. I have no choice but to be on it. Hopefully I’ll change this soon.

Same thing for me. I’ve tried four times to switch to abilify in order trying to loose weight and for negative symptoms. All the tentatives were failed.
