Psychiatrist and I agreed that I should cut down on coffee

Nowdays I mainly have those Kenco/Nescafe/supermarket own brand sachets of coffee. I occasionally have an instant coffee but it’s not as nice.

I miss my cafetiere coffee . My cafetiere went when I moved.

My pdoc gave me the go ahead to drink coffee. I may have went overboard and am working on 2 pots today. Its totally out of boredom because i’m home alone.

Are you drinking the coffee because you don’t feel awake? If so, maybe you can find another way to feel alert. (I do some vaping and that helps me feel alert.) I’m sure there are other ways.

Well the first one helps me wake up in the morning. But the first one is also kind of a habbit. However once it starts to wear off I want another coffee high. It’s a subtle addiction basically.

Ordered a plastic 3 cup cafetiere. Looked up the amount of coffee required.Lots of sites saying 2 tbsps per cup= 6 tbsps for 3 cups ! Seems way over the top to me. I don’t like my coffee overly strong.

I usually have about 2 lattes a day with a double shot in each lol

Ever have you tried caffeine tablets along with decaf coffee. That way you get the coffee flavour but you know exactly how much caffeine you are getting.

I tried caffeine tablets once but they were waaay too strong. So that put me off them. Good idea though.

I’m just going to switch back to instant coffee or possibly cut it out completely. Caffeine is definetely a problem for me. (Unfortunately)
