As some are aware, today I had my meeting with the psychiatrist and mental health team. I declined the clozapine treatment and te psychiatrist was satisfied for me to proceed without medication as I have responded better without Antipsychotics!!

Why did they want you to go on clozapine then?

So you try Clozapine when other antipsychotics don’t work, right? I was good for a month or two off antipsychotics. Then it was one hallucination after the next. It was really terrible.
He may be treatment resistant… !!! Imo…!!!

Because some symptoms manifested, and I had been resistant to the others I had tried. In fact, I had said that the only medication I was prepared to try was Clozapine ( before I learnt about all the effects)
I have tried most of them except clozapine.
I’m on zyprexa 15mg
@TheBest to my knowledge, if other antipsychotics have failed then Clozapine is usually recommended.
With the exception of December I was off all medications for a year. After 3 weeks on Quiteapine I was erratic, and then I stopped to the medication I was myself again

@far_cry0 I was not on medication for 95% of 2017. Only until December for 3 weeks and I am better off medication than I am while on them

It is good since I went to higher dose of 15mg.
Rest of the aps didn’t work as good as zyprexa

@anon20318121 That sounds difficult and I am sorry to hear that.
My parents and brother are all un medicated. But they are irrational and impulsive and lots of arguing. If being un medicated works for you then go for it. Its your choice
