So now that I’ve established my premise of my album. And organized it. I’m using most of the 40+ poems I wrote in the hospital to make an album. I’ll only post this album in this thread. Instead of posting a new song every time. I’ll just update the album. My last thread on my music for a while. I’ll tell ya I read a book on writing hip hop in the hospital and it really helped me a lot. I think it’s dope finally. When you got it you got. When you don’t you don’t. @zwolfgang @ anyone else give me a beat I got a buncha poems left. Nice on the ears. But I still make songs I don’t like. Just know when to scratch it. It’s usually when the concept of the song. The beat w/ the lyrics don’t work together where I run into problems. And that’s inevitable with the way I’m making it.

Thank you loke im very proud sorry if I came off cocky In my post I didn’t mean to. Although good to be a bit cocky in hip hop. But it’s such a crazy mix of emotions that makes me so different. I write better with a pen/cil than typing it on the computer. It comes out simpler but sometimes it’s better at getting your point across. And you can feel the texture of the page more. So I learned quite a bit about myself in the hospital

Okay I got a base down I went with a church organ instead of a piano. I’ll upload a sample here so you can hear what I got so far and if you can give me some more ideas of what to add that would be sick

It doesn’t sound typical hip hop because the drums are under the rest of the beat imo. I like more emphasis on drum. More dark. Idk exactly how to say it since I’m not a producer. But I like the start. But I think you need more darkness and emphasis on the drums. But it is very nice. I can work with it either way. But lmk if you could do that. It sounds too dreamy and I’d like something more aggressive if you can. Not to sacrifice your essence but just make it a lil more in a dark more baratone sound I’d say or so…? Thank you
