Productivity Thread

Being productive is really difficult for me, these days. All I want to do is lie in bed with my books, or sleep.
I have such a long To Do list, and it’s really stressful.
I’ve also been having a hard time keeping up on my gardening. I’ve killed so many plants, already…
I thought I would make this topic for anyone else struggling. We could post our tasks and motivate/ congratulate each other.

Today’s tasks:
•Last coat of paint on my furniture
•Sprinkle chilli powder in my garden to keep my rabbit out
•Finish weeding and mulch my flower bed

Today I have to drive to go see a friend of mine near mum’s place. It will take me about an hour to get there. I don’t really want to go but i made a cd for the car to keep me occupied on the drive.

You have a beautiful garden.

Good luck on your drive!

Thank you. That’s just the front flower bed. I have more planters and a veggie garden in the back.

I need this sooo badly. Fortunately today I’ve already done what needs to be done, but if this is up and running tomorrow I will be a frequent poster!

Your garden is gorgeous. I’m a bit jealous :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok,so I didn’t end up mulching my flower bed, yesterday.I will do it today, hopefully.
I managed to put chili powder in my garden. Not sure if it’s working, though. I can’t really tell if more leaves have been eaten.
I also did my furniture, yesterday. Now I realize I still have to do one more coat on one of my tables. I will do that, tonight.

I went to work and then came back and had a good nap (probably the most responsible thing I could have done for myself)… then did dishes and tried to get some dirt off my kitchen floor… kind of futile… that thing has been gathering dust since the 70s or 80s… but I think if I go tile by tile and waste all the paper towels I got… I might take it all off. The mop just water it down and spread it out… the dry mop didn’t take much of it off after that at all…

cool back yard… it’s neat you have a rabbit as well.

Awesome.
Maybe a few times with a scrub brush or a sponge mop will get it clean? Rather than wasting paper towel…

I took to it with the mop once already… pretty ineffective… it wasn’t until I was drying up leftover wet spots with a paper towel that I managed to really effect the appearance of the floor.

Well, I’ve been at my mom’s boyfriend’s farm, helping him clean, the last couple of days. Probably staying here, all week.
My personal projects will just have to wait, I guess.
