I may need to ask my mom for an extra hundred a month for food…it’s getting very expensive to buy food…
I spend 100 dollars at grocery store and hardly get anything
we mostly eat frozen chimichangas for dinner…that or pbj’s…it’s all we can afford.
There are videos on YouTube that show you how to get the most value for your food budget. For example, anything pre-packaged, like chimichangas, are not good value and nutrition. Your money would go farther if you bought large bags of rice and beans.
I would watch the YouTube videos, make a budget, and see if you can spend less on food while getting the same, or better, nutritional value before asking your mom for $100 per month, unless she has a lot of money and wants to help you.
It sounds terrible in the us right now, what with the health care system & all
I feel for you guys x
we are already hard pressed to buy enough poor food to get us through…she doesn’t mind helping.
Do you have access to food pantries that provide free food?
Lentils! I buy lentils in bulk. Also atta. Nothing like scooping up lentil curry on homemade roti.
