Because it isn’t me to be perfect. I’d rather make a mistake here and there along the way rather than have extreme success followed by just as extreme failure.

To be perfect you also have to be a good liar.
If you failed chordy, it’s only because you’re too honest.
Be proud of being a decent human being.

I tried to make my mother’s lies about me be the truth.
Yeah, it doesn’t work that way too well does it?
A child isn’t there for the parents to do what they couldn’t do themselves.
Kids are best when they are their own person.

I’m discovering that I really was lost a lot of the time, wandering off in a daze.
It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.
You don’t need anyone’s permission to enjoy life.

I found I was more perfect a few years ago. No intrusive thoughts, sound mind, had some friends, I was outgoing, smart, and cheerful, more normal than I am now.
I have to be perfect. People expect me to be perfect. If I’m not perfect in everything I do down to every detail they look at me like I’m the craziest person in the freaking world.
So I try to do everything right.
That must be exhausting. Are you sure it’s others exoecting you to be perfect, or do you think maybe you expect that of yourself?
Not really sure I’d have to think about this. I think people put more unfair expectations on me than others much of my life but maybe I am projecting a bit too. Good question.
Well, either way, it will be better once you find peace. I have experience with trying to be perfect. It only ended in guilt and frustration and sadness. Don’t let the drive for perfection ruin your life. Drive yourself to be a better person each and every day, drive yourself to be content in who you are and how you live your life. I believe that it’s possible for you to achieve happiness. Keep going, you can do this.
Perfection is not possible. The areas I would most like to be perfect in are the ones that I fail the most at.
Failing was the only way I had to be human. But I Don’t know if it worked.
