Praying things get better

I hope my insurance issue gets resolved soon so I can finally be able to visit a doctor. Things have gotten worse for me, I stay up for manydays even with sleeping pills and I’ve even started to have hallucinations. They where really scary. I’m not religious but I keep praying to whoever or whatever is out there to watch over me and allow things to get better. Sorry for the vent but I really find this community to be very supportive. I feel a lot of comfort here.

When do you think your insurance will be sorted?

I don’t know I’ve been on hold since November or September I’ve lost count. I haven’t seen a doctor in two years but after getting sued under obamacare I’ve been trying desperately to get insured. A few weeks before the deadline they told me they had lost all my papers and I had to start over again so needless to say I’m getting sued again this year regardless.

Stay strong, really sucks your going through this. I wish you the best, hopefully the ball starts to gradually move in a better direction.

Thank you. I feel like I wake up to a nightmare every morning. :frowning: (slept for about 2 hours just now)

Have you tried applying for Medicaid? It’s free if u qualify and has helped me out allot.

I’ve applied to whatever they have let me apply to but they “lost” my papers and kept changing my social worker.

Ure pretty . . . .

I hope you get the help you need soon. This board is a great place to chat and mingle with others who struggle with voices and other delusions. Just remember it is a chemical imbalance. Stay away from any substances like pot and anything trippy that will trigger the psychosis.

Also, drink lots of water and try to exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday.

I empathize with the sleeping issue. I once couldn’t sleep for about two days straight and I had to go to the hospital.

I hope this helps, take care.

Maybe you could get some kind of temporary therapy until your insurance kicks in. It sounds to me like you need medications. Hold on. Things can get better.

Thank you. Talking to people on here is such a comfort. I’m going to try to work out like you mentioned

You welcome  I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day. Exercise doesn’t have to be anything strenuous. Dancing is very good too, works out the cardio and it’s good for the soul

I usually go on the treadmill but with the lack of sleep my muscles where weak and I could not really think.

Sorry to hear that Aurora, hope things get better soon.
