Like wearing power glasses to see or to read.

I am also curious to know what meds all take who wears glasses.

I feel some relationship with glasses and symptoms.

Do you feel there is any relationship? @shutterbug

he’s asking about prescription lenses, in some south asian cultures we call them “power” glasses because they magnify or adjust sight lol

My glasses are adjusted for only one eye, to fix the astigmatism blur but in terms of actual distances - i think they’re “almost” the same distance

Oh, I have no idea. I had glasses when I was eleven years old. Near sighted.

Same here I started to wear them in school as I used to get severe headache. Plus knee pain was next level I used to cry because of the pain. We used ayurvedic meds for knee pain like oils. Then it went away.

Doctors were not able to figure out the pain in my legs. So went to ayurveda.

I always wanted those x-ray glasses they advertised in the back of comic books. I figured I’d be able to see through women’s clothing or through walls.

I wear glasses and by focal lenses two. No nifty gadgets for me I suppose. I could name a few that I like. Probably never get time to get one.

I wear glasses. I have ones with Progressive bifocal lenses and Transitions that turn to sunglasses when I’m in the sun. I can’t see poop without them.

I need glasses really bad for up close vision. I can see pretty good at distances. It was the opposite before i got my cataract removed and replaced lens. I recently got new glasses but , unfortunately, my night time driving in storms has convinced me that I probably need to do the other eye soon. This time I will get the expensive lens.

I’m so used to wearing glasses now I can’t really picture myself without them. And I’m so happy that glasses are actually considered cool now. If I had a goddamn dollar for every time someone called me “nerd” and “four-eyes” in the 80’s. To the moon and back, Alice! :right_facing_fist:

Yeah, in the early 1970’s in elementary school I was always the token glasses wearer in class. I hung out with all the coolest kids though and did sports. I never thought much of myself but I remember thinking I was pretty cool for a guy who wore glasses. In high school there was still a stigma to wearing glasses but it got a tiny bit better and I wasn’t looked down upon as much because more people had them. But yeah, when my friends really wanted to hurt me they would call me four-eyes.

Yeah to compensate for my glasses I used to always wear a lot of black, or shirts of metal bands or with skulls on them haha. I wanted people to know I wasn’t one of those “nerds.” I remember seeing this 80s horror/B-movie called The Gate on VHS when I was young and one of the main characters had short hair and glasses but he was a total hip kid and a “metal-head.” I always found that character empowering haha. But yeah it’s funny how trends and tastes change over time.
