When I first became sz before I knew anything was wrong I ended up staying at my local mental health facility for 3 days to appease my family. Anyways, on the fridge someone had beautifully written, “I have schizophrenia AND THAT’S OKAY.” And that has really stuck with me. Wish I had a picture of it.
