i never had alien delusions bc i think that was too far out for me, no, my delusions were grandiose and spiritual as well and some were very strange and involved wars and persecutory as well as paranoia, i dont think i hallucinated before. meds helped for the past 6 years amisulpride 200mg daily, pregabalin for anxiety.

Not good to think that everyone is watching while psychologists are unconsciously making me do stuff.
@mortimermouse That’s very similar to my delusion. I feel like ‘brain researchers’ (Psychiatrists, Psychologists etc.) are inserting thoughts into my head and hypnotizing me to do what they say. They communicate with me and monitor/watch me via extremely sophisticated equipment in my ears, eye and brain. They have direct access to my subconscious to hypnotize or insert thoughts and can see what I see through a camera in my eye. It’s all in the context of a ‘brain study’ of which I am the only subject being constantly monitored and watched (Truman show syndrome). My first psychotic episode was a little over a year ago. I was very suddenly enlightened via direct suggestion to my subconscious (according to my delusion) that I am the only subject in an extremely elaborate brain study. Of course I have many real life examples (Like a lot of delusional people) to support my claim that I am being studied. My delusion has lessened over the last year on Risperdone and continues to subside. I still have it but I question its validity more and more.
