My ex was abusive. I don’t talk to him anymore because of that. He has no interest in talking to me anymore either.

I used to talk to my ex wife every day on the phone…but I won’t deny I was a self centered person back when I first met my current wife in the beginning…ashamed. anyways…my and my ex almost got back together to the point of me leaving my current wife…then I changed my mind and told Angie I wouldn’t talk to her anymore and we left it there. I have ex’s on facebook though. this was before we were married…and had a lot of fights…namely proving how wrong I was every time and she changed me…my wife has powers of magic.

No hate to my (very few) exes, but no. I don’t talk to them anymore. We said everything we needed to say to each other, and if I wanted to keep them in my life they wouldn’t have become exes.

I have an ex-boyfriend on Facebook. He was my only boyfriend before I met my ex-husband.
I met my ex-husband at 18 and when we divorced, we went our separate ways. There were no children to share custody of.

It’s complicated. I did for 20 years but my ex did it with her ex’s and I never liked it. Get over it and move on is my thing these days.
Still. I have a step daughter and although I was only there 2 years I still think she’s my step daughter. It doesn’t change but the politic is problematic. Shame really but honestly. Give up your ex’s. I’ve seen how bad that can be for your new relationships because my ex did exactly that.

I see 0 point in that. Theres like 8 billion people out there to chat with and ya still want to talk to an ex girlfriend? 
But i understand if someone has children with an ex then you still need to communicate.

I cant vote. I dont relly have any exes. I had a friend with very rare benefits but id say we were more friends than anything. Which i prefer. We lived in the same group home. But if that counts then no, we lost touch when i bailed the state.

Sometimes I wonder what my ex wife is up to but I have zero interest in talking with her again.

My ex and I are better friends now than when married.
25 years with someone and they are part of who I’am today.
We have both remarried (me going on 11 years with spouse 2, ex going on 9 years spouse3) and there isn’t any drama from anyone, maybe that’s one of the perks of getting older?
At first it was kinda awkward in explaining her relationship to me, so now I just go with ‘my Wife-in -law.

I dreamed of getting back with my ex, for many years, until I finally did, in 2000. And we stayed together, on and off, for 15 years, after that, until our grown child died. After which point, I saw no reason for us to stay together.
