I notice how the media thrive on opposing positions. They also like to burn people at the stake.
I follow the news but dislike most of the reporting.

I stopped following the media. One, I stopped believing them. Two, all the sad news makes me worry and cry. And there is nothing I can do about all the big stuff. I rather focus on the small stuff I can make a difference in.
i don’t trust em and i don’t follow the news anyway
The trouble with the whole internet thing is that everyone is intimately connected with everyone else and that means that those who believe in stupid things find others who think stupid things all too easily.
Don’t believe most things you read on the internet and for gawds sake fact check as much as you can!
I agree, important to fact check where possible. I never trust anyone much anyway its part of my illness i mistrust the world
I sort of trust the news but I don’t feel it’s always the whole picture.
I don’t like how they make really sad things over dramatic for trying to grab attention.
It’s stupidddd
I rarely read news now. I used to read it every hour of the day, now i never do
Idk whether I should call myself sceptical or no,
But there are many things (I believe) which happens and we actually don’t know anything about them. Not only illegal things, but these I would count also.
So yeah, I believe we see only surface on the news, and also sometimes incorrect one.
The best one! I also believe we need to concentrate on things we actually have a power to influence
I avoid the media at all costs. The general negativity and “if it bleeds it leads” mentality drive me away and even the commercials are so insulting to my intelligence that I just stay away from it all in general.
