I’ve been on haldol for 4 years I’ve been on injections for 1 year but it’s the same medication
Close to 5 years on Invega.
I’ve been taking Invega injections since 2019.
I have been on clozapine for more than 14 years.
my pdoc said I am clear now from worrying about tardive dyskenesia on my med since I’ve been on it over ten years…yayyyy
I’ve been on Invega for 10+ years but have taken Risperidone, Abilify, Zyprexa, Orap, Seroquel and Clozapine as well.
Been on abilify and clozapine since 2007
Been on invega since last august until the end of July this year. My doctor then switched me to abilify 10mg pills. No more injections. Hopefully i can get my emotions back.
My doctor says I will get a lollipop on my 20th anniversary
Between 2013 and 2024 with Abilify, now with Vraylar, nothing changed for the better, I continue to stop taking antipsychotics because I find them intolerable.
Seriously is there any info or evidence how dangerous and harmful AP’s can be after a long time of use? I seriously think I my intelligence and cognitive skills keep on getting worse and I say it’s the long term use of AP’s. I’ve been on this medication for good 17 years. My veins have gotten scarred and thick because I’ve been getting blood tests every month for 17 years.
Yes, AP’s are serious drugs, the best we can do is to get by on minimal effective dose and get regular checkups.
How did your zyprexa and invega together go?
She’s trying to taper me to it thinking it might help insomnia and aid in better sleep. She said we will continue invega 1.5 to keep hallucinations away.
Well it went okay. I was still ill but able to study online part-time. I remember liking the taste of the Zyprexa melting tablets.
There was no problem with interaction with the 2 meds.
I was on high doses though. I think I took 9 mg of Invega and 30 mg of zyprexa at the time.
I have been feeling incredibly hungry like à 3am. Lol that’s my only side effect.
Eat an apple or something
That’s healthy.
I’ve had a very good appetite for years!
I have been receiving anti-psychotic medication of various types through injection needles since 2009.
Well, I have been on Abilify for the last 6-7 years, however, my second medication keeps on changing. Of the ones I tried, Latuda and Amisulpride work, and almost wipe out the illness (in conjunction with Abilify) but I get severe side effects on them.
If I mix Olanzapine or Risperidone with Abilify, I think those combinations would also neutralize the illness completely, but again intolerable side effects on those medications on monotherapy.
So, currently I am on ziprasidone, but in the process of cutting the Amisulpride, and increasing the Ziprasidone, so not sure it will work.
