i started amisulpride its great and potent antipsycotic.how long have you been on amisulpride? what is the dosage you take? what is the side effect? what is the improvement of your symptoms on amisulpride?

14 years on Abilify

9 years on abilify, out of 10 years being medicated.
It hasnā€™t disappointed me yet.

However, there is a correlation between abilify and increased risk of dementia. Maybe I should consider trying vraylar or another newer med.

Iā€™m on abilify tablets, I didnā€™t know that it would increase risk for dementia, Iā€™ll ask my doctor about that.

10 years on Amilsulpride.

5 Years on 100mg Amilsulpride.

After that, 5 Years on 50mg Amilsulpride till now.

Iā€™ve been on Risperdal for 28 years. Geodon for 26 years. Seroquel for 8 years.

thatā€™s low and not effective dose for treating schizophrenia. are you stable on such dose? any relapse happened while on it? do you take any other medications?

I am coming off Amisulpride.

Too much weight gain, and too little sex drive.

I was taking 600 with 30 mgs Abilify.

I was symptom free on the combination, apart from the cognitive symptoms, such as, poor attention span, concentration problems, etc.

It felt like it was way too potent, like blocking all the dopamine, so you feel less pleasure in life.

I have been taking 100 mg of amisulpride for the last 14 years, nothing more. This is my therapeutic dosage. For the first 2 years of my illness, I was taking a therapeutic dosage of 200 mg, I had very strong akathisia, I gained 20 kg in six months. This forced me to stop taking the drug several times, after which, within a few weeks, deterioration inevitably occurred, delirium and psychosis developed. 200 mg of amisulpride, which my family forced on me, brought me out of an acute condition in 12 hours. With the consent of my doctor, I gradually reduced the dosage of amisulpride to 100 mg, I live well on it.
Lately, resistance to amisulpride has begun to develop, since I cannot miss a single day of taking the pill, sleep disturbances immediately occur (. And before, I occasionally allowed myself to miss taking the drug 2-3 days a month without consequences.
