I cannot socialise for long time now
Cannot go out in evening as when I do I get voices and paranoia feel I’m being watched so don’t even attempt go out evening. If didn’t have that problem would enjoy go out socialising like did for couple years in my 20s
My only real socialisation is on forums/facebook and then I find I often struggle with it. IRL I don’t socialise as I have no friends and don’t know how to make friends.
I wish there was an option for choosing 2. I like this forum but I also like going out to socialize with other people. After the test on Thurs. a couple of the girls in my clinical asked if I wanted to go out down the road for drinks with them. So I did, we met up with about 8 other students. It was really nice to be included.
I prefer to chat online or text, but, most of my socialization comes from the hoardes of people tramping through my house about 5 days a week. We always have company. It doesn’t help that my husband conducts business here, which means I am cooking for the masses.
I like socializing with friends in person, though I generally don’t like going out much. I also like Skype/Google Hangouts, I don’t have to go anywhere, just click.
I prefer face to face, in person socializing…with friends anyway…though I tend to isolate and don’t make friends easily…though I still get calls occasionally from old friends and acquaintances I knew in my mid 20’s…I don’t know…my tendency is to isolate. There was a time in my life when my life was based on friendships…revolved around relationships and social circles…that time is however long gone.
I socialize on here and on Facebook mostly. I always make work friends. I haven’t made any lasting friendships at school though. I am sure I’ll meet someone at my school.
Me, too. I like to have 1-2 friends in reality, just hanging out once in a week. If the face-to-face conversation lasts for more than 2 hours, I would feel very stressed and tired. But I like to chat with a friend on Skype by typing word daily, say one hour each day.
I never aware of that. Maybe I can change the habit so that I read important news only, such as the recent Scotland vote for independence and launch of Apple iOS 8.
