I’ve been sectioned 15 times now. Currently in hospital. We’re allowed phones here, hospital even has own internet.

Here it depends on the ward if you can keep a phone.

My cousin is currently in a ward where she can’t keep a cellphone but she can make calls in a booth (and has an expensive phone bill to pay).

I have been locked up more than a few times but it’s been a while. Never allowed a phone or internet access.

We had a room in the nut house with a computer they would sit you down at to take the MMPI. That’s about it.

There was a phone in the dayroom but only like two hours a day where you could actually use it.

I got special treatment during one trip though because my wife was in college and could never come during visiting hours in the day. They let her come pretty much any time she wanted to. Usually in the evenings.

Ive been in around 10 times… i expected more good well being after every single of it, but i was a bit disappointed… now i just wonder if its not me, who was way too negative, but still, yeah…
One pdoc honestly told me, that they gave me way too many meds and its probably the truth, maybe i was just a fool too in a way…
My best friend had around 13 hospitalizations, my other ill friend had around 20 times… At least, they found them their meds too, but they pay lots of efforts now still in order to feel better… :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:

4 times. 3 between 2012 and 2013 when I first got sick then again last year. Snapped a 9 year streak.

No. Presented to emergency twice but my mother said she’d take care of me. All this in a small house with mum and dad and three younger siblings.

It was a confusing time for sure but glad I didn’t get admitted. I worked through it all with the meds for sure…weird times but glad I missed it.
