I certainly have. Many times. But lots of people here seemed to have managed without ever having been in one.

I think I’ve been 5 or 6 times.
I spent 3 years in and out of them repeatedly. Easily at least a dozen times. Ive also done residential treatment centers, partial outpatient centers, and rehabs.
Im hoping to never end up there.
I spent nearly 24 hours in the “waiting room” thing waiting to be processed. But they said I was fine and didn’t need to be kept there.
Once age 18 for a month then age 28 and then twice soon after the last time I was in was two years ago I’m now 51
Only once, right after the first episode.
Why don’t wards allow you to have mobile/cell phones on you?
What do they think you are going to do with it?
Phones were allowed for a majority of us, where I stayed at least. A few patients were deemed dangerous though, prohibited from leaving their room, heavily sedated and denied access to phones. No idea why.
Several.

In the UK (or at least the one I went to) they take it off you as you enter as if you are going to call terrorists to get you out or something… Seemed weird to me.
Maybe they do it to help you.
Due to poor insight, you might reach your employer and call them a jackarse. Just an example.
Yeah I guess thats probably their thinking.
Thing is I never use my phone to call anyone lol. Just use it for social media/videos/reading etc.
SIM-less tablets should be allowed, though.
three wards in one year…first two kicked me out before I stabilized because I didn’t have insurance…grrrrrr…
Ive been like 8 or 9 times and ive only had schizophrenia for 7 years
I was in the psych ward for three days at 19. I thought I would never be in one again, but I was in one for a month at 54 and in another one for 10 days right after that.
1975- 1983 More than a dozen times
. Since March 8th 1983, not at all.
I’ve been four times, all in 2013.
Was in about six times from 1992-94. Was in once or twice since then mainly for exhaustion. Weirdest hospitalization was overseas in Italy while I was on a trip with a choir and got really bad jet lag
