I don’t know if you mean exact place I was born like the hospital, but I do still live in the same city.

For many years I lived about 800+ miles away from where I was born, but now I live maybe 50-75 miles away.

No, I was born in New York and grew up in Chicago. Most of my extended family still lives in New York. I think being isolated from my family other than my parents was one factor that contributed to my development of mental illness.

I’m in the same state as where I was born, so I consider that to be close.

Could never afford to live where I grew up.

Born in San Diego. Live near Pittsburgh. Prefer Pennsylvania to Southern California but miss the Mexican food. There’s some pretty good authentic Mexican places here, but nothing compares to Natti’s across the bay from Coronado

the Alzheimer’s is strong with this one.
just kidding

In ways, remaining near the place that caused you a nervous break and people who started to mistreat you, is tougher than a move if you have option to move near family or friends. Some sz are mistreated upon leaving, especially a female planning to live alone as the predators and dums all come out of the woodwork to take a look at latest opportunity, even in small town. REALLY SAFER MOVING WHERE YOU ALREADY KNOW PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOU MOVE WITH CLOSE FRIEND/LONG-TIME RELATIONSHIP. Keep the past private and don’t discuss diagnosis, you can get fresh start and access to different work.
