I spent most of my time in a city growing up, but when I lived with Granny, it was a tiny town. Her place was home, but I didn’t spend the most time there. I greatly dislike large cities.
I’ve moved so many times I don’t feel like I’m “from” anywhere. I do prefer places with fewer people around. But I also like concerts and they happen near big populated areas.
I’m not sure how to answer this. I live in suburban Detroit, which is comprised of a three-county area. I moved from one county to another in that same tri-county area. So, is that living in the same area?
Also, the area I group up in is probably similarly populated to where I live now. There’s no choice for that.
However you view it personally will be a good answer It only asks about size of the community you moved from, and not to. Didn’t want to make the poll too complex
I grew up in the suburbs, nice community. I relocated 1000 miles away to the suburbs of a big city. I like it here so much better. Theres so much to do and we’re 45 min from amazing beaches.
I grew up in New York City but when my parents divorced they sold our apartment and my mother moved to Rhode Island and my father moved to Pennsylvania because of the cost to stay in the city. I live in Pennsylvania with my father now.
I found this challenging to answer. I was born in a small town. Lived in my province’s capital city where my mom worked as a nurse and then back to the small town once she went blind. Then we moved to the other large city in my province so she could get a degree in social work (she already had a degree in nursing). I moved back to my hometown when she passed. I met my wife and we moved back to the province’s capital where I found lucrative employment and we had our daughter. I got laid off and burned out in IT and we ended up on a very rural acreate where I helped her aging parents with running their farm. We have since bounced through three different small towns as my wife has changed teach jobs. I’m currently in a town of 14,000 people.
