Working cameras are Canon 5Ds, Canon 5DMk3, and Canon 5DMk1 (converted to infrared). Also Canon G10, Canon G9, and a Fuji XT3 as my carry around. I’m a professional photographer on the side. Do weddings and portraits during the warm season.

I have a nikon dslr. It’s a great camera but I never use it. I used to love photography when I was a teenager.

I bought the nikon dslr as I thought it might get me out of the house but it hasn’t :frowning:

I am just taking photos as my hobby, I have an older Nokia phone with its camera, good enough for me and posting here on the forum, I think that all these cell phone cameras have revolutionized the way how we can share our experiences with our relatives and other people. Everybody has a camera in their pocket.

Oh, yes, absolutely. But they still can’t do things my more expensive camera bodies and lenses can. It comes down to the laws of physics. When you’re charging someone a few grand for a wedding package, you had better deliver more than a bunch of cell snaps.

You are right, I have also a few cameras from the 1980s :smile: , the whole digital camera revolution has made those old photo store obsolete, we had a couple of these stores in my town, but they closed because people took their photos digitally. And also the technology develops, one can only guess what types of new devices they invent in the future.
