My psychiatrist said that they did. I’m just afraid of even more side effects.

This poll is only for people on antidepressants :pill:

They help, but I still have a lot of anxiety.

I’m not currently on antidepressants,

But I have been,

Specifically for anxiety and they never worked for me.

Abilify just shot my already bad anxiety through the roof.

It was hard to get under control.

But, the antidepressants didn’t help.

I took Sertraline for anxiety. It did not help at all.

They then tried Pregabalin, and I have been doing well since - apart from spikes when stressful things happen

I also take 10mg a day Diazepam, but up to 20mg if I am feeling rough. Not great, but I have a dependancy on it now. I did reduce from 30mg a day, which was a feat.

Was on 200mg Sertraline for over 20 years. And i can safely say - i didnt notice a blind bit of bloody difference on or off them. Aside from the fact i didnt have the metallic mouth in the mornings.

Was a bit naughty a few months ago “and bought” some one elses pregablin script off them - cos they are a crack head and wanted the white. But truth be told - they actually worked! I was quite happy following thru tv shows and didnt have that unsettling unease i get when craving for a beer. And i stuck to the recommended dose, like a medication.

I dont dare ask the psychiatrist for them tho. He would wonder where i got them in the first place. And having an addictive personality - i dont want to add opiates to it. But they helped!

Naughty i know. But when you wake up in severe anxiety like i do sometimes, it was nice to have a rest from it for a bit.
