I take 60mg fluoxetine but I feel it’s not doing much for me anymore. Anyone have any good recommendations for a med for anxiety (my doc doesn’t prescribe benzos)

I take escitalopram(lexapro) an anti depressant helps alot but i still have moments where i feel anxious but there different for everyone and i feel like it can be abit harder to tell at first than with anti psychotics

Any of the newer seems the good bet. It’s hard sometimes as we are all different but chat to your shrink. Mine has a bit of a feel about things that may work. It really is a bit of an art when it comes to medication.

Zoloft worked for me.I took Prozac 60mg for years,cause I needed more motivation and none of SSRI was available.

Brintellix/Trintellix (Vortioxetine) works great for my anxiety atm, heavy cost though. Mirtazapine is probably the best AD I’ve tried with effect regarding anxiety.

I take Remeron for sleep now,but it lost antidepressant effect on me…
