My psychiatric clinic was my trustee for like five or six years, then they thought I was well enough to manage my own money.
So far it doesn’t look like too many of us who were/are too ill to manage to their own money.
As a condition of accepting me into their treatment program, my psychiatric clinic required I voluntarily sign a trust naming them as trustee.
I made financial mistakes while being ill, but I never lost control of it. I would hate having to ask money to someone all the time to buy something.
All’s well that ends well.
Thanks @TheFountainPen. Mainly I gambled and gave money to shysters - fortune telling and psychic counseling. Also faith healing.
I quit my job. If I hadn’t I would have been able to get a load of money from the company’s insurance.
That was my main mistake.
I never had any money to control
I handle all bill payments and budgeting for the household. It’s maybe not ideal, since I spend a lot, too, but I do get those bills paid!
I have some money, but most of.my money goes direct to the landlord or bills.
Thanks @BrianTex. I can’t save much either her.
