i guess its hard to be civil and supportive when there are two opposing sides in the mix, it would be hard to stick to the rules, and also i dont think it has anything to do with sz, it doesnt need to but this is a sz forum for people trying to discuss there problems about sz.
Well there is more to politics than Trumpet show…and personally I find the topic so frustrating that I am totally down for blacklisting that particular thread.
But I would like to be able to share opinions about more general stuff that is going on in the world now or in the past - those threads would probably ask for more moderator’s supervision though.
I would like to be able to discuss topics like left and right option, libertarianism and such. We need to learn to lead a civil discussion - no illness is excuse for not having manners and politeness.

i’m a member of other forums, they don’t allow politics or religion… for good reasons.
i say political threads will not last for long…
