Please, I'm fighting ptsd, depression

I’m struggling with flashbacks and negatives, depression. I would love to hear anything true about me. I know I’m needy, today. I’m trying to salvage the holiday weekend.

I can’t offer much, but I can tell you that you’ve been kind and helped other members here, that’s something to feel good about.

This feeling won’t last forever, just remember people are rooting for you!

It’s like my memes, I do em do bring people a laugh, a smile, a warm funny. It’s a small contribution that helps others, in return I feel good.

Another exercise I like to do is counting the loved ones in my life, I think of them and how they wouldn’t want me to suffer.

What’s something hopefully you are looking forward to? Even if it’s small, a nice cup of tea, the sunset, and animal you get to play with. Just having that spark inside can help drive me to feeling better

I used to love giving out candy but now we get almost no kids. Even so the kids are always happy because I give them lots lol.

I feel sorry for you, hope you feel better soon.
I don’t have ptsd but I feel empathetic towards people who suffer from it. It’s a awful disease and it’s really bad when it’s flared up.

You may also know it’s not your fault. As they may already told you, you survived! Don’t forget that! :wink:

@JustTrish Try to remain calm take deep breathes and try to focus on an object or music or exercise.
Then slowly try to release those PTSD images or thought from your minds eye by counting or focusing on other more positive things.
