Hey, I’m not a doctor so I cannot diagnose you. Maybe you should see a psychiatrist.

in schizophrenia is common to have this vision or hearing pattern i mean ??

I had a hallucination once that I was seeing everything in 2D, that passed, you should definetely talk to a psychiatrist about this issues, I cannot diagnose you.

they gave me an IV antibiotic named Rocephin . are these symptoms of mine have anything to do with schizophrenia?

How long ago was your operation? It can be reaction to the anesthesia

I’ve had the same thing pretty much. Really bad chronic derealization for 4 years. It was caused by a bad reaction to drugs. I’ve had sharp vision, but mostly my vision was/is blurred. I’ve had increased sound sensitivity, but at my worst, I couldn’t perceive depth/3d for my auditory processing (sound seemed to come from my head not in the environment). I felt like nothing was real, including touch. Basically, I felt like I couldn’t feel my body or anything.

Antipsychotics seemed to make my derealization worse, but they helped with the thoughts. I basically had intense philosophical obsessions about reality and god that accompanied my derealization.

Basically, it took a very long time for me to improve. I would say I’m 80% cured of derealization. I don’t suffer as much. This improvement has only been noticed for the past two weeks or so due to supplements. My vision is still blurry due to Risperdal but I can see mostly in 3D now.

I don’t know what your cause is or how to get better. I would talk to a psychiatrist or go outpatient or SEE A NEUROLOGIST. It basically took me 1.5 years to get a schizophrenia diagnosis after my psychotic break from weed and salvia. At first they said I didn’t have it.

I don’t hallucinate.

The neurologist I saw thought I didn’t have schizophrenia but chronic migraines. He prescribed me Topamax and it helped but I ended up getting paranoid, so I had to stop it.

I would take astefano’s advice and go see a neurologist. Maybe get a second opinion from a psychiatrist also.

im afraid to go to a psychiatrist again and mostly they do not get it when i say i see everything in 2d or depthless i have never take any pills in my entire life before this damn surgery im afraid they say im schizo or psychotic and put me on a heavy medication cause im afraid of taking pills do to my severe allergy reaction to anything

i saw 4 neurologist they said it is so to stress and anxiety but he put me on small doze of olanzapine that i refused to take again my MRI EEG n CT was clear too

Oh you took olanzapine already. How did your body react to that?

no i refused to take it i was afraid.

Afraid of what? It’s an antipsychotic it would probably help you with this issues.

If you have indeed schizophrenia it’s probably best for you to take antipsychotics before the onset of a more serious psychosis.

I would go to dpselfhelp.com. It’s a forum for dp/dr.
