I read an article saying that taking pictures makes our memory worse… but I don’t know that that’s true, if anything I think the pictures help my memory… so many moments would be lost in my brain if I never took photos.
I love taking pictures. I just got back from town from printing photos😄
Now that I think about it… capturing an image for forever is pretty trippy to think about…
My sister just texted us photos of our courthouse wedding.
She was the only person present.
We never seen the photos before.
It was kind of special.
Even though we were just in ordinary clothes.
Nothing special but the moment captured.

A camera i think essentially just a painting machine…it senses the color light at each point/pixel in the image then just displays light bulbs that match those colours and we get the effect of a similar image to the actual place

Realism painting portraits were only available to the super wealthy and powerful.
I love realism dude…they must have been master painters to be able to do that

Yeah - Picasso was a realist painter - thats his genius was to go abstract coming from realism.

Depends on how you use the camera. They are capable of “seeing” quite differently than we can.
My dad filmed a lot of my childhood so some of my memories is from the vhs tapes 
i like nature pictures and beautiful women pictures. it is amazing for sure. i dont remember which culture but there is a culture that believes pictures taken of you steal your soul. hey, it is all beliefs. believing is key for making money. lots of people sell beliefs.
We filmed every Christmas and some parties early on 
Pictures help me remember memories. They make me happy. I love seeing pictures from a long time ago, seeing how I used to look and how others used to look. It’s cool to see how much time has passed.
I love seeing old pets who had passed a long time ago. Seeing their pictures brings me joy, but also sadness, because I miss them.
Sometimes, I completely forget a vacation that Hubby and I had. Or I forget many details of the vacation. But after I see pictures from that vacation, it brings back memories and makes me happy. It also helps me remember additional details of the vacation that weren’t captured in the pictures, but the pictures helped me remember things.
I think without pictures, I wouldn’t remember most of my past. Pictures help me remember.
