Physical therapy has a home traction machine for me to try Monday

They’re going to see if it works. If it does they are going to put in a request to my insurance company for me to get one for my house. Then I could do traction everyday and possibly skip even more of the pain meds. I might even get to the point where I don’t go to pt and don’t need any pain meds.

Nice. Is that the one with the tilting bed, you kind of hang upside down? I’ve got one of those, but haven’t used it in a long time. Thanks for the reminder

Good for you, pt is a good option over pain meds, I hope you make good progress, I’ve been off pain meds for about 8 years now, and I do pt at home.

oh that’s awesome. What’s the pt for?

Scoliosis and sciatica, I had some really mean physical therapists in the past so I just do pt on YouTube.

The physical therapist that was doing me is out right now so they have a student doing me, she’s really nice. And she is actually helping me, so I was surprised she’s a student.

what is a home traction machine? What does it do?

The on I’ll be using gently pulls my neck, decompressing the spine and relieving the tension caused by arthritis.
