I’ve found myself buying books. All my music is now digital but I like the hard copy. Just not the same reading on a screen…I get enough computer time as it is!
I guess being able to physically handle what you are reading makes it a better experience than reading from a screen.
I have bins of books I have some stored in the shed out back…I don’t care about clothes stuff like that but I love my books.
I fully agree. Nothing is better than a book you can hold in your hands!

Some of us like to collect books and prefer reading on paper. They are more expensive and take up more room but last longer. What happens if you lose your files or backups?
I bought a Kindle about eight years ago, but I didn’t like it, so now only my husband uses it. I am in the process of rebuilding my physical library after donating about 2/3 of my books back in July. None of my new purchases are e-books, they are all paper.
I was surprised at the percentage of the e-books sold as noted in the article. I thought it was much higher!
I get a headache reading on a screen. Every once in a while I’ll get a headache reading a long post on here, or a news article. Sometimes I have to take a lot of breaks to look away from the screen and reading a novel would get annoying.
I don’t get headaches reading on paper though.
Nothing like getting the physical copy
for me, theres just something so uncomfortable about reading a book on an electronic device. Reading is supposed to be a relaxing exercise and electronics even if its a kobo it just doesnt seem right. I much prefer paper books.
