Photo journal-- I like that idea

Continuing the discussion from On polarization and conflict:

I don’t know why… but I never thought to photo journal before. True, I don’t have a camera. I’m sure I can borrow one of the many my Dad has. I’m really struck by this idea and hope I can find a camera and do this…

I can even try and have themes…
@shutterbug
Thank you for this idea.

I started doing that when I started getting sick. None of my word make sense but the pictures still have meaning

my old journals are filled with jumbled rants and “code” that I can’t understand any more at all.

I think I’ll start with something up beat… simple pleasures… and then maybe “the good in the world”

I was going to ask, “not even on your smartphone?” Then I remembered that you may be one of those who has neatly, er, side-stepped that issue.

I don’t own a smart phone. I’ve been trying to improve my relationship with my land line and actually answer the phone.

I just don’t like cell phones. I’m trying to get over that phone anxiety.

I can appreciate that. My chief complaint about my smartphone is the phone functionality. My world would run more smoothly if I could ditch synchronous voice communication.

I have 14,427 photos on my iPhone, that IS my photo journal.
It’s rarely used as a phone.
