Don’t worry about bothering the Crisis Line people. They are totally used to it. They are doing their job. They are only too happy when people call when they are in a crisis, no matter how many times you call. What they hate is disasters when people don’t call.

they are always there to try and help, i use them occasionally and they always help.

Always found the mental health system is never good for my crisis so I’ve learned to take my meds and deal with a lot myself.
My shrink is great. He bulk bills me, which means the government pays, and he’s top shelf. Really good and all and know’s a lot of shite…Saying that…he does a private hospital in the mornings and he’s usually an hour late on all his appointments.
I get 10 minutes tops with him…Years back and over the years he’s not someone you can get onto very quickly…it really is a special thing to get a phone call from him…but I wouldn’t change that for the world.
It’s a tough life these days as everyone is overworked so keep the simple things in your life…listen to good counsel…take your meds religiously and look out for yourself if possible!

Do what you have to do… it will help when you get to a pdoc and they’ll have a better understanding because the crisis line is putting it on record (being part of NHS)…
