I am having a phone interview with a woman about a Chemist position today at 2. I am kinda nervous because I am not the best with interviewing, I can’t think quick like I used to and it’s hard to remember stuff.
I am wary about even being able to do the work since it’s been two and a half years working the same job with schizophrenia and it’s been a up and down battle.
Honestly this whole job search thing is stressing me out. Part of me is lucky I can still work but the rest of me wants to give up.
Obviously you have something to offer or you wouldn’t have landed the interview. You can do this. Just take some deep breaths and get into professional mode. Good luck.
Just remember that everyone gets nervous doing things like job interviews and going on dates. It is just some people are good at controlling it. Dont worry about being nervous, it is not wrong to feel like that.
Phone interview over, lasted 15 minutes which I think was a fine amount of time, now I just wait to hear back something towards the end of the week.
I think it’s a salary no overtime position so that is fine with me, given it pays well enough. I will try to stay positive, no reason to be negative really it doesn’t change things.
I’m really impressed with you for handling the phone interview. Phone interviews are objectively the scariest type of interview in existence and you’ve done multiple ones now!
Well done to you. Most of interviewing is listening. Hear what people are asking and respond accordingly. Be confident in yourself and glad you got through it. It can be stressful so you have done really well.
