i just have to say my pets make me happy. sometimes they are the only reason why i get out of bed. even the animals that aren’t mine i love them but you may as well say they are ours. we pay for everything for them. i just feel happy around them taking care of them knowing i’m the reason why they are doing ok or better than they were when we first got them. my day starts out with me letting the dog out, feeding the dog and cat. turning on the bearded dragon’s lights. letting him warm up before i give him his salad with vitamins or calcium dust sometimes he gets super worms but lately he hasn’t been eating his salad so he’s been cut off of supers until he eats his greens again. tough love is hard. then after an hour of two of warmth he gets his salad. then spray down the gecko tank. my day is so encompassed by pets i sometimes forget what human communication is like. i feed ed the gecko at night since he is nocturnal then spray his tank down again. they also get baths but that’s for help with digestion and shedding.

Your pets look like they’ve found a super mommy to care for them. They do look very happy.
Animals make a place a home…I wouldn’t want to live without them.
I am not an animal person but I know the joy that having pets brings to people. Glad you have your pets, @cbbrown. It’s good to be able to show your love and you seem like a very loving owner. Glad they bring so much happiness to your day

thanks @disciple and @Csummers. when kaisei first got in his bath he was upset but once he settled in his tub he calmed down. kaisei is the bearded dragon while edward is the gecko. my partner was the one in the picture getting climbed on i thought it was a perfect time to get a photo of them together.
Oh my goodness I was just thinking this yesterday. I have been under heavy stress lately and it was like my rats could tell yesterday they were so sweet, one of my rats sat near me the whole time and kept giving me kisses on my nose and cheeks. I couldn’t not smile. I wish I had gotten them earlier they have really been such a great help to me.

I have a cat who is very cute named Emma. She doesn’t like being held though, but sometimes she likes to be petted. She’s very sweet but very sensitive.
When your time comes for you to go to your own brand of heaven, your doggie will be there with his tail all a wagging to meet you again. Animals never really leave the people that love them, they just have to wait for us to catch up with them.
